Scott Shefman is the Executive Managing Director of Real Estate Operations at Friedman Real Estate, where he is responsible for executing strategy across the brokerage, management, receivership, leasing, and construction divisions. In this role, he approves and monitors departmental budgets, establishes departmental growth objectives, and ensures that the company has sufficient systems, policies, and practices in place to execute its various business plans. 

Previously, Scott served as the company’s Director of Acquisitions and was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and financing investment opportunities involving both fee and debt interests in office, industrial, retail, and multifamily locations across the United States. 

Scott is an active participant with several industry trade organizations, and he regularly speaks with clients and trade professionals regarding conditions impacting the commercial real estate market.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois.
